A graphite tech pouch, portable power bank, earbud case and cable on a light surface

Your everyday tech bag: power, audio and fewer loose ends

The best tech bag is the one you can pack without thinking twice. It has enough power for the devices you use, an audio option that fits your routine and the right cable in an easy-to-find pocket.

Whether your day means university, the office or several stops around town, start with the things you actually carry. These options from Bits LB let you build a useful kit without filling every compartment.

Start small: choose one power bank, one audio option and the cable your device needs. Add laptop protection when you carry a laptop.

1. Choose backup power around your day

The UGreen 30W 10,000mAh Power Bank is a starting point for everyday phone and accessory charging. It offers a 10,000mAh stated capacity, dual-port design and up to 30W output for compatible devices.

If you want a higher stated capacity and a cable you cannot forget separately, look at the Belkin BoostCharge 20K with Integrated USB-C Cable. It combines a 20,000mAh capacity with up to 30W USB-C PD charging, an integrated USB-C cable and additional USB-C and USB-A ports.

Pick around capacity, connector convenience, size and weight. Capacity in mAh does not tell you exactly how many full phone charges you will get: conversion losses, the phone battery and how you use the phone all matter. A 20K power bank also does not automatically charge faster than a 10K model; compare their output specifications separately.

2. Match the audio to the way you listen

For wireless listening, the UGreen HiTune S3 Clip-On Earbuds bring a clip-on format, Bluetooth connectivity and a charging case. They are worth considering if you prefer the clip-on shape and want to avoid a cable between the phone and earbuds.

Fit and listening preferences are personal. Keep the charging case in the same pocket each day, and consider the environments where you listen. A clip-on design should not be chosen on the assumption that it provides the same isolation as a sealed in-ear design.

If you prefer an audio option with no earbud battery to recharge, the JBL Tune 310C USB-C Earphones use a wired USB-C connection and include a microphone and three-button remote. Check your device's USB-C audio support, including call and remote-control functions. JBL's product page links to its compatibility information.

3. Give every connector a job

Check the ports on the devices you own before adding cables. A built-in USB-C power-bank cable is convenient for a USB-C phone, but it will not plug directly into a Lightning phone. A separate cable may still be useful for another device, or for charging the power bank itself.

Choose a cable length that suits where you use it. A long cable can help at a desk; it may leave extra cable to manage when the power bank sits beside a phone. If you want a cable for both desk and bag use, the Belkin CAB014 USB-C cable offers 2m length and up to 100W charging support. Confirm your connectors and required power first.

4. Protect the laptop you already own

If a laptop travels with you, the UGreen LP187 Laptop Sleeve is listed for 13–14-inch devices. Check the sleeve's internal dimensions against your actual laptop rather than relying only on the screen size, particularly if you use a protective case.

Store loose adapters and cables in another compartment so they do not press against the laptop. Packing neatly also makes it easier to see what is missing before you leave.

Before you leave

  • Recharge the power bank and wireless-earbud case.
  • Pack the correct cable for each essential device.
  • Keep one accessible pocket for charging and audio.
  • Leave room for the everyday items that are not electronics.

Can a phone power bank replace my laptop charger?

Check the laptop's power and protocol requirements. The 30W options here are not a universal substitute for a laptop adapter.

Do I need both wired and wireless earphones?

Start with the one that fits your routine. Add a backup only if you regularly need it.
